Dr Danijela combines a number of different techniques in order to instigate a positive change within the body.

Acupuncture Techniques

  • Acupuncture (Chinese or Japanese), Master Tung and Dr Tan Advanced Acupuncture Techniques: using acupuncture needles or lancets to directly and indirectly stimulate acupuncture points and meridians
  • Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture
  • Scalp Acupuncture
  • Manaka Protocol: using electric, mechanical, or magnetic devices to stimulate acupuncture points and meridians
  • ToyoHari: Japanese no-needle acupuncture technique
  • Shonishin: Japanese paediatric no-needle acupuncture
  • Acupressure: applying finger pressure to acu-points on body
  • Laser Acupuncture: applying low-intensity, non-thermal laser irradiation to acu-points
  • Electro Acupuncture: where small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles.

Moxibustion Techniques

  • Moxibustion: using the lit end of a moxa stick and holding it an inch or two away from the skin, usually around the inserted needles, to bring mild warmth to the area without burning, until the skin becomes slightly red.
  • Okyu-direct Moxa: lighting moxa threads on acupuncture points without causing burns
  • Kyutoshin: lighting moxa on acupuncture needles, as per the Japanese Moxibustion tradition

External Techniques

  • Cupping: detoxifying using suction cups to bring toxins to the surface where they can be resolved easily
  • GuaSha: a skin friction technique, usually done on the back
  • Hunyuan Wu Ji: external heat and cold therapies
  • TuiNa: Chinese Massage technique, characterised by kneading, pressing, rolling, shaking, and stretching of the body (does not include spinal manipulation)
  • Yin TuiNa: non-forceful release Chinese Massage technique, aimed at re-establishing the optimal flow of Qi in the affected channels

Energy Healing Techniques

  • External Energy Healing & Qi Gong: using hands on a patient with the aim to project Qi for the purpose of healing
  • Wu Ji Gong meditative exercise practice: to maintain your bodily integrity, preserve your health and longevity, and be in harmony with nature
  • SoTai: Japanese exercise techniques with a focus on breathing and relaxation

Internal Techniques

  • Chinese Medical Herbalism: including recommending, dispensing and sale of herbs, vitamins, minerals, and dietary and nutritional supplements
  • Dietary consultations: advice and health education based on Chinese Medicine theory
