Dr Danijela has devoted her life to helping people heal, beginning with her initial career as an oncology nurse specialist, and then as a Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture practitioner. Her nursing role enabled her to explore and practice Western Medical theory to deeply understand the disease process and its influence on the human body and psyche. Later in her career, Dr Danijela was introduced to Chinese Medicine theories as a premiere way of maximally augmenting patients’ health gains. Seeking to address the often-clouded and multiple root causes of ailments, Dr Danijela began intense study of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, having spent 20 years researching this complementary yet powerful art. In addition to her Master degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, Dr
Danijela completed the Western Medical course: Master of Reproductive Medicine. Dr Danijela is extremely passionate about marrying the best of Western and Eastern medicine to maximise couple’s chances to either conceive naturally or support IVF and achieve desired outcomes.

Oncology Nursing
During her nursing carrier, Dr Danijela completed Graduate Diploma in Cancer Nursing and Diploma of Management, which enabled her role as Nurse Unit Manager of Day Chemotherapy units in leading Melbourne hospitals. She also worked as a part of the specialist nurse consultant team at The Cancer Council providing cancer patients and their families with information and guidance and linking
them with the appropriate services.
Supplementary Therapies
Apart from three Masters degrees, Dr Danijela has, over 4 years, enhanced her practice with the completion of the Jing Fang postgraduate program with Dr Suzanne Robidoux on Shang Han Za Bing Lun (Hu Xi Shu Lineage). She is currently preoccupied by studying Hunyuan Medicine with Dr Yaron Seidman. She has also studied Japanese Acupuncture: Manaka Protocol & Toyohari for a year and a half, and Master Tung and Dr Tan Advanced Acupuncture Techniques. She gained a Diploma of Remedial Massage & Shiatsu, Lymphatic Drainage Massage (Vodder Technique), and the energy healing techniques: Healing Touch, Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection. All those influences crystallised Dr Danijela’s approach to addressing the myriad health issues she encounters in her practice.
Past Life Regression
Dr Danijela’s curiosity to explore in depth the origins of disease led her to ancient Indian and Chinese texts discussing the concept of a “Past Life” and “Past Life Regression” as a mean of addressing general life problems but also, in particular, for health problems without obvious causes. To this end, Dr Danijela completed Past Life Regression (Dolores Cannon Method), which became a powerful tool in overcoming persistent obstacles to complete healing in some patients.

Dr Danijela Jakic is registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Registration Agency), and recognised as a provider for the private health funds and Work Safe Victoria. She is an active member of FCMA (Federation of Chinese Medicine Association and Acupuncture Societies of Australia).
